I’m a freelance editorial illustrator who enjoys exploring new ways of illustrating and constantly stepping outside my comfort zone as an illustrator. Whenever I can, I experiment and play around with a thousand and one crazy ideas and new visual styles.
I love cinema, television and radio. I’m happiest with a pencil in my hand or with ink flowing through my drawings and illustrations. At the same time, I’m always eager to read and write stories or screenplays, or to design logos, posters, brochures and websites. Most of the time you can find me somewhere sketching in a notebook or typing away on a laptop.
Being a naturally restless and curious person, I try to get involved in cultural and social events whenever possible. I love new challenges, and that’s why, as an editorial illustrator, I helped create Kokapeli Ediciones together with other talented professionals from the publishing world — a small publishing house with a slightly different point of view.
I also regularly collaborate on the radio show Luces en el Horizonte, hosted by Luis Martínez Vallés, where we talk about “books, music, movies… the things that truly matter,” and have a great time doing it.
Working across different creative fields — including film and television, editorial illustration, graphic design and web design — has pushed me to constantly learn and evolve. As a result of this journey and the experience gained across different media, I co-founded Protocolo66 with a partner who is just as passionate and curious as I am.
